Although he plays Mark Zee's younger brother on Chanel 5's, The Yang Sisters, Alaric is in fact two years older than Mark.

While auditioning for Money, Alaric had originally read for the role of Sonny. That role was eventually offered to Pierre Png. Producers of the show, however, were greatly impressed with his audition and decided to write a new character into the series just for Alaric. Hence Ricky Kok was born!
